The Minnesota Triple Double was born out of the desire to pool the resources of the three side by side events held every summer in Northern Minnesota.
Duluth Double Gun, Inc. is proud to be part of the Minnesota Triple Double by offering the Puglisi Gun Emporium Side by Side Challenge, set for August 2nd and 3rd, 2008 in Duluth, MN. Saturday’s main event consists of Sporting Clays, Sporting Skeet and a (clay) Pigeon Ring. Sunday will consist of Small Bore and 12 gauge Sporting Clays. All proceeds will be paid back to the participants both for performance and participation.
The first shoot toward the Minnesota Triple Double is at the Deep Portage Reserve in Hackensack, MN on June 7. The event proceeds are used to fund Upland Bird Camp scholarships for young people 12 - 14 years of age at the Deep Portage Reserve. Click on their link below to get full detail.
The final shoot toward the Minnesota Triple Double is put on by Woodcock Minnesota and held at Rice Creek Sporting Clays, east of Little Falls, MN. This event will take place on August 23rd. Proceeds from this event are used to assist the DNR with woodcock research. Click on their link below to get full detail.
